When is the Best Time to Visit Long Bay?

Peak season on Long Bay is from December to April. The weather is dry and sunny and the water is calm. This is the most popular time of year to visit though, so be sure to book early.
Shoulder season is from May to June and November. The weather is still mostly clear and dry, but the beach is a lot less crowded. November is also ideal for kiteboarding thanks to the strong winds.
Off-season is from July to October. Temperatures are hotter and humidity is up. While it is technically hurricane season, actual storms are rare. This is the best time of year to find deals on Long Bay Beach villas.

Spring in Long Bay offers warm, pleasant weather with average temperatures ranging from 77–84°F (25–29°C). Rainfall is moderate, averaging around 2–3 inches (50–75 mm) per month. This period is ideal for outdoor activities, with clear skies, calm waters, and steady trade winds perfect for kiteboarding.
Summer brings hotter temperatures, averaging 82–88°F (28–31°C), with higher humidity. Rainfall increases slightly to about 3–4 inches (75–100 mm) monthly, though showers are often brief and followed by sunshine. The warm ocean temperatures make this a great time for swimming, paddleboarding, and other water sports.
Fall is the wettest season, with an average rainfall of 4–6 inches (100–150 mm) per month, particularly in September and October. Temperatures stay warm, ranging from 80–86°F (27–30°C). While this is technically hurricane season, storms are rare.
