Trip of a lifetime!!

Casa Barana was gorgeous! It was the perfect place for a multi-generational family vacation. Having a pool, hot tub & beach all at our fingertips was wonderful. There is also plenty of privacy with gorgeous trees, flowers & shrubs all around. We loved drinking morning coffee watching the birds. The beach is not really 100% visible from the house even though the house IS on the beach (unless you are on one specific upper patio) - BUT, that really doesn't matter as it is a few short steps to the beach, and the path is really lovely. The house is filled with beautiful windows and large gathering spaces. It really is gorgeous & a special place. There are a few downsides, but they are minor: There are some bugs outside, so bring bug spray (this is the tropics!), there can be dogs on the beach which posed no problem to us, but did mean that being on the beach after dark is not a good option. The house is very secure....and comes with a security guard each night. We did feel safe - but it does highlight that you must be careful. The property manager & his wife were nothing short of AMAZING, every question was answered immediately and they were so helpful! I would highly recommend this house & would love to come again someday.

Spectacular!!!

My husband and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with our family of 7 adults. We chose Casa Barana not only for its location directly on the beach but it was perfect for all of us to be together and not be at a resort with other people. Paul was the host/caretaker and he did an amazing job making sure all of our needs were met. The kitchen is stocked and we even grilled one night. Now for the negative......there is a wild dog problem which packs of wild dogs roam the beaches. They are not aggressive, however the former renters fed them and when we arrived we were woken up in the early hours of the morning with cries wanting to be fed, needless to say we were not happy. But action was taken to help rectify the situation thru rescue agencies and a couple of days later the dogs were not an issue. We are dog lovers but it was still a situation we would rather not have to deal with.

My 50th Birthday Bash on T & C

Casa Barana is absolutely amazing! We spent a week here with ten people. It offered everything we could’ve wanted and more. It is a true paradise. The home is decorated so beautifully and the grounds are stunning! The pool and hot tub were a complete oasis. There was plenty of room for privacy, yet also wonderful gathering spaces. The kitchen would please even the finest chef, as it lacked for nothing. We were only a short walk from the beach (basically the back yard) and enjoyed the salt air and sound of the waves. We felt quite safe at this location, which until our stay, was a mild worry. We were thrilled to have a delightful restaurant just a short walk down the beach, and did visit them twice! We had all adults, but this home is also finely equipped for children of all ages. Even the sports enthusiast will enjoy the use of the kayaks. If I return to Turks and Caicos, this would be my dream spot. I would also like to add that Tim Montgomery helped us DAILY. He was SO wonderful and easy to work with. Even the most ridiculous of questions he handled for us. I would love to work with him again in the future. I feel he MADE our stay at this beautiful home, PERFECT.
