Welcome to Ville Adiacente, a combination of two three-bedroom adjacent villas (Casa Luna 16 and 17) within the gated Casa Luna residential resort. Only 15-minutes from the airport, guests can head directly to the villa, where the property manager will meet you upon arrival.
Casa Luna is a luxurious and intimate residential resort, nestled within a sandy cove, just south of Seven Mile Beach. Inspired by Tuscan architecture, Casa Luna blends modern luxury living with a private sandy beach and lush landscaping to create a secluded Caribbean oasis.
Each villa is a multi-level, masonry-built, 3,500 sq. ft. private residence with an open-concept design and bedroom suites on the upper and lower levels.
The living rooms, dining rooms, and kitchens are located on the middle level and open up through a wall of sliding glass onto the veranda patios and backyard entertaining areas.
Casa Luna appeals to two sets of travelers: those who are considering a stand-alone private villa but want a barefoot swimming beach and luxe resort amenities, and those who are considering the beach quality of a busier Seven Mile Beach condo but opt for more privacy, more square footage, and less guest density.
Casa Luna #16 and #17 together are a wonderful option for up to six couples or a large family. Five king suites and a twin suite spread out among 7,000 square feet of living space plus private outdoor entertaining areas and backyard verandas.
Beach Notes
Casa Luna's barefoot sandy beach is lined with palm trees and chaises for your use. Exclusive only to the owners and guests of Casa Luna, the beach is never overcrowded.
Unusual for a barefoot beach in Grand Cayman is the ability to snorkel and actually see marine life, as fish require corals, grasses, and rocks in which to live (and those items are not pleasant to walk on). Instead of rocks and grasses, Casa Luna's protective ironshore cove provides a haven for marine life. Given the tides and currents, you'll want to exercise caution when swimming outside the protective cove.
The larger, single-building condominiums on Seven Mile Beach do not have any underwater habitat for marine life and hence, very few schools of fish.
General Grand Cayman Beach Notes
All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically “public” since the Queen owns up to the high watermark and the shoreline quality behind your property may vary seasonally.
Ocean Debris and Sargassum Seaweed
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal and the owners would make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and have the beach raked prior to your arrival. We try our best to work around mother nature.
