Set within the quiet residential community of Gibbes Glade in Barbados, Todmorden is a traditionally styled three-bedroom coral stone villa, designed so that all of the bedroom and living areas can enjoy the cooling tropical breezes. Surrounded by lush gardens, the outdoor pool area is reminiscent of a tropical oasis. The villa is a five-minute walk from Gibbes Beach, one of the best beaches on the West Coast of Barbados. The historic town of Speightstown, which offers a range of shopping and casual dining options, is just a ten-minute drive away.
The villa is comfortably furnished, with 3 spacious bedrooms featuring modern en suite bathrooms. The living room opens onto a covered terrace featuring an alfresco dining and separate seating area, overlooking the gardens and saltwater swimming pool.

Nice Villa
First time visiting Barbados. Very busy island. We prefer a quieter atmosphere. The villa was beautiful and well appointed. The pool and garden areas were beautiful. If you desire a view of the Caribbean, this isn't the villa for you. There were no rafts or foam noodles (the cheap kind) provided for relaxation in the pool and even though you had a short walk, down a path, across a busy street to get to the beach, no beach chairs were provided as well. There was a lack of warm shower water in the master bedroom, the duration of our stay, and even though there was an attempt to fix the problem, it was not solved. Janis and Pasquale, the cook and housekeeper, were there every day from 9-5 or even later, so if you desire privacy, that isn't happening at this villa. They were wonderful and Janis cooked up some incredible meals. They certainly tried their best along with Peter from the rental management on site in Barbados, to get the problem rectified and Rental Escapes, I believe, did what they could do in providing this issue to the villa owner. Will not be revisiting Barbados.
