Bahia Mar at Grand Isle Resort Was Wonderful
Our stay at Grand Isle Resort was excellent. Our condo unit (Bahia Mar) was a two story, 2 BDRM, 2.5 Bath where both of the bedrooms had attached bathrooms. The larger of the two had a nice outdoor Patio facing the ocean. Those bedrooms are on the first floor along with the laundry facilities. The Living Rm, Kitchen, Dining Rm & half Bath are on the 2nd floor along with a balcony with a beautiful ocean view. None of the units at Grand Isle are directly on the ocean. Various holes of the golf course lie in between the units & Emerald Bay but they are skinny & do not separate too much. There is a pathway from the pool area down to the generous white sand beach. I believe the restaurant at Grand Isle is the finest on the island. The resort staff really could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They were all very nice people & very well trained. We loved the look of Grand Isle Resort with it's skinny streets, abundant vegetation, perfectly groomed, & handsome condo homes. It has almost a 'small town' feel.

Lovely Property
Property was lovely. Everyone was warm and inviting. We were not told the golf course was closed. We were put in the wrong villa. We were moved to the correct villa after 2 nights. The pig tour was great!! Food at the resort was above average. The real estate person on site was green and didn't have details on costs to own a villa. Taxi did not pick us up at the airport as requested.

Luxury Away from Home
Everyone likes to visit a place where the people are friendly and remember your name. This is what you will get at Grand Isle Resort - friendly and helpful staff that remembers your name and make you feel at home. My two bedroom luxury villa was spacious and had all the amenities of home. I would recommend that you rent a car as there is so much more to see and do away from the Resort. We will certainly visit again.

Great Resort
