Rock Cliff Room at the Rock Lodge

OVERVIEW

Ulusaba is Sir Richard Branson’s private game reserve in South Africa's Sabi Sand. Ulusaba has 20 rooms and suites spread over two lodges: Rock Lodge, including the beautiful Cliff Lodge, and Safari Lodge. The name Ulusaba means ‘place of little fear’, so named because the koppie, or hill, on which Rock Lodge sits provided the ancient Shangaan tribal warriors with the perfect lookout point.

At Rock Lodge you’re on top of the world as you stand 800 feet above the surrounding wilderness - perfect for surveying miles of the game-rich South African bush. The lodge has eight rooms and suites, each reflecting African tribal influences and style.

There are four adjoining Rock Cliff rooms. All are spacious and south-facing, with private balconies offering views over the landscape. Two rooms are on split levels, with a staircase connecting the bedroom and bathroom. These four spacious rooms all enjoy views over the vast landscape of the Sabi Sand Reserve, so you can watch passing wildlife from the comfort of your private balcony.

King-size, comfortable beds, soaking tubs with a view and a fully stocked minibar are just a few of the luxurious touches you can expect to make your stay more memorable. Each room is designed to reflect African tribal influences and style.

Some Rock Cliff Rooms have split-level bathrooms with an elegant spiral staircase connecting the bedroom.
