OVERVIEW

Ulusaba is Sir Richard Branson’s private game reserve in South Africa's Sabi Sand. Ulusaba has 20 rooms and suites spread over two lodges: Rock Lodge, including the beautiful Cliff Lodge, and Safari Lodge. The name Ulusaba means ‘place of little fear’, so named because the koppie, or hill, on which Rock Lodge sits provided the ancient Shangaan tribal warriors with the perfect lookout point.

At Rock Lodge you’re on top of the world as you stand 800 feet above the surrounding wilderness - perfect for surveying miles of the game-rich South African bush. The lodge has eight rooms and suites, each reflecting African tribal influences and style.

The majestic Primary Suite at Rock Lodge is built on three levels with spectacular views, an en-suite bathroom, and a private balcony with an infinity plunge pool looking out onto the landscape. The living area has a second terrace with sun loungers and a Bose speaker system, perfect for gazing out over the bush with your binoculars.

This is one of Richard Branson’s favourite rooms and ideal for honeymooners.
