OVERVIEW

Playaakun is a private ecological luxurious estate that sits in the unspoilt environment of Sian Ka’an Biosphere, a Unesco world heritage protected reserve. Its location is ideal for seclusion, sitting on a pristine Caribbean beach surrounded by coconut palms and lush vegetation. In front of you is the Caribbean Sea with a stunning coral reef 100m out. Behind you is a calm and serene natural lagoon – all of this is within a private estate.

The villa comes with direct access to its own private beach, large decked area and infinity swimming pool. A large roof terrace with unlimited views and huge outside living areas. Indoors consists of a large open-plan living space that looks out over the dunes and the magnificent pristine beach.

There are five en-suite bedrooms, four of which have uninterrupted sea views and direct access to the beach and decked area.

• The villa is built and functioning in a sustainable and ecological manner, as per rules and regulations of the UNESCO natural reserve. We will buy the Sian Ka’an park entrance tickets in advance, which are $5 USD per person per day and will add to your bill for the end of the stay.

• Please note, due to Sian Ka’an being a protected reserve, it is not permitted to bring external ATVs, water sports equipment such as kiteboards, or audio equipment. It is also forbidden to fish, in order to protect the endangered sea life. Additionally, pets are not allowed.

• It is also important to note that roads in Sian Ka’an are unpaved and therefore distances and times may vary depending on the season and road quality/condition.
