Amazing Italian Family Celebration at Rasina
To celebrate our 50th anniversary, we took 22 family members to Italy. Following a week tour in Rome, Capri and the Amalfi Coast, we stayed at Rasina for four nights, three full days. It was the perfect spot to relax after touring and to fully absorb the beauty of the Umbrian countryside. The villa, originally a convent, was lovely, with plenty of spaces for family fellowship. The grounds and views from the hillside were stunning and our family loved the pool, extensive lawn area (we held a family bocce ball tournament) and huge trestle tables on the patio for Al Fresco dining. The meals provided were delicious and pizza night a big hit. The staff was incredible - Davide, the manager, was extremely helpful, assisting us as we made plans and accommodating all our needs while there. Mariella, the cook, and Valeria, Tulio and Evo were all so gracious and hospitable - they made us feel like they were hosting family. Rasina was the perfect environment for the fellowship and family bonding memories that we will cherish forever.
