Nestled in the charming medieval hamlet of Doglio, Podere Le Corone offers a breathtaking retreat in the heart of the Umbrian countryside. Surrounded by rolling hills and a vast olive grove, this historic estate embodies the timeless beauty of the region. The fertile land yields a prized organic extra virgin olive oil each year, a testament to the property’s deep connection with its surroundings.

Dating back to 1601, the borgo has silently witnessed centuries of tradition. Its antique stone walls, rich with history, have remained unchanged, preserving the charm and authenticity of a place that has withstood the passage of time. In 1994, the current owners, captivated by its natural beauty and tranquility, undertook a meticulous restoration to maintain the estate’s magic.

Podere Le Corone is built around a central courtyard and comprises a main house and two annexes. The restoration prioritized preserving original architectural details while incorporating colors and materials inspired by the Umbrian landscape. The result is a warm, rustic aesthetic that blends seamlessly with its surroundings. Each of the spacious bedrooms is equipped with air conditioning for comfort.

A stunning panoramic swimming pool, set on a lower terrace and enveloped by ancient olive trees, offers privacy and breathtaking views. The estate also features multiple outdoor spaces furnished with tables, chairs, benches, a wood-fired oven, and a barbecue—perfect for al fresco dining and leisurely gatherings.

A grand living area on the first floor, complete with guest bathrooms, is available for business meetings, ceremonies, and private events at an additional daily cost, which includes cleaning services. The estate is ideal for large groups, offering ample shared spaces while ensuring privacy through separate accommodations.

Doglio is just 5 km from Monte Castello di Vibio, home to one of the world’s smallest historic theaters and a striking medieval fortress overlooking the Tiber River. The estate’s location provides easy access to numerous cultural, natural, and religious landmarks. Todi is a mere 15 km away, and other stunning destinations—including Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia, and Spoleto—are within a short drive. Excellent motorway connections also make it convenient to explore the neighboring regions of Tuscany and Lazio.
