OVERVIEW

An old, completely-renovated, farmhouse in the heart of a large agricultural estate and the ideal place to spend an unforgettable holiday in contact with nature. It is located just 6 km from Porto Cesareo, along the Ionian coast, famous for its exceptional natural beauty, its beaches and its rich history and 20 km from Lecce, known for its splendid Baroque and Rococo monuments which have given it the name "Florence of the South". The farmhouse is an old building whose central core dates back to the late 1500s and has been renovated in a conservative spirit, respecting its original charm and character. The original architectural elements of the property remain in the foreground, providing an evocative canvas on which typical furniture and characteristic furnishings have been discreetly placed, and distributed in the common areas and in the five air-conditioned bedrooms with private bathrooms. Outside, the large furnished terrace from where you can admire the wonderful Salento sunsets, the sizable park and the large covered portico in front of the swimming pool and solarium complete this enticing proposal to stay in a place surrounded by silence and the beauty of nature.

The farmhouse has two floors, not connected internally. At the ground-floor entrance, a hallway leads to the large living area with a sitting room and dining area, the latter connected to the kitchen with a wood-burning oven. The living area is served by a guest bathroom and a bathroom with a shower. The sleeping area on this floor consists of a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower and four double bedrooms each with an extra single bed private bathroom with a shower and direct access to the garden through a French window. An external staircase (located in the internal courtyard) leads up to the top floor consisting of a kitchen and two double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with shower. The laundry room is located in an annex near the swimming pool.

The house is located within a boundless agricultural estate. The driveway entrance leads to an uncovered parking area (for at least six cars). The 6000 sq m park around the structure is flat with lawn areas interspersed with stone paths, in the centre of which is the large swimming pool bordered by the sunbathing area. Along the front of the house are the outdoor living areas, a dining area and a sitting area, shaded by a porch. The terrace on the first floor, also furnished, offers guests sunsets and panoramic landscapes. The property is not fenced-in.

Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

The rectangular swimming pool, located at the back of the garden, measures 5 x 20 m with a constant depth of 1.40 m. Covered with plaster and bordered by stone paving, the pool is equipped with a chlorine purification system, internal spotlights, double Roman steps for access to the water and a central island for sunbathing. The solarium area is equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds. The pool will be open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.
