Villa Avalon, located on the central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica is a fantastic destination for any families (including pets) or large groups, looking to explore and get the most out of their trip to this gorgeous country. The house is half an hour's drive from the San Jose Airport and is located in a secure gated community within Punta Leona.
The house has seven bedroom suits sleeping up to 18 people and a full-time maid, cook and concierge service to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The house includes a 40 metre swimming pool with a 33 metre swimming lane and outdoor gym/weights area, with a large Jacuzzi on the above balcony. Adjacent to the kitchen is a breakfast nook and an external barbecue area. There is also a large lounge space with a full-size pool table, board games, an enclosed bar and plenty of relaxation space, with wireless internet access and a telephone.
The villa takes advantage of an incredible panoramic view of the ocean and forested mountains, with sunset views all year round. Due to its 100-metre elevation above sea level, the villa experiences wonderful refreshing sea breezes most afternoons. In the mornings you can expect to wake up to a troop of monkeys or a couple of Scarlet Macaws that like to feed on the many fruit trees surrounding the villa; you can even spot the occasional school of whales swimming in the Gulf of Nicoya below!
Within a matter of minutes from the house you can find yourself at Playa Blanca, a pristine white sand beach. There is also a small pebbly beach a ten-minute walk at the rear of the property which is exclusive to the local gated community.

Most Memorable 50th BDay Ever!!!
It will be incredibly difficult to capture all the awesomeness of Tania, Kat, Fiona, Marjorie the Chef, Leticia (her assistant), and Anibal (the boss!). They made my 50th bday the most memorable! I never imagined in my lifetime that I would experience anything like it! This is the type of experience you only dream about! Everything about Villa Avalon is absolutely beautiful! breathtaking views in Punta Leona
Villa Avalon has amazing views from where it sits on top of the mountain/hill in Punta Leona, outside of the Jaco area in Costa Rica. The onsite staff includes a chef that cooks breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. The chef can prepare dinner for a charge. The property manager takes care of the maintenance of the home and grounds. The owner is extremely helpful in providing guidance about local activities and restaurants. The home is large and can comfortable accommodate a group of 17. There are plenty of bathrooms with showers. The staff keeps the many doors to the home open to provide airflow throughout the house. All the bedrooms are air conditioned except for the master bedroom on the 3rd floor. The breeze from leaving the doors open in the master keeps the bedroom relatively cool. The rest of the house can be warm if there is no breeze from the open windows. The pool and hot tub are very nice. There is seating available on the pool level and the balcony level. The villa is about 35 minutes from Jaco, where shopping and restaurants are available. The road from the gate to Punta Leona to the villa is very hilly and requires a driver's full attention, especially at night.
